62nd Acharya’s contributions to Sri Adi Kumbeshwara Swamy Temple, Kumbakonam- year 1800
The following inscription at Sri Adi Kumbeshwara Swamy Temple in Kumbakonam details that Jagadguru Sri Mahadevendra Saraswati Shankaracharya Swamigal who adorned the Kamakoti Peetam from 1783 to 1800 built and offered the Sri Somaskandamurti Ardha Mandapam and Maha Mandapam in the year 1800.
